On Sunday 9th November 2014 we were pleased and proud to welcome the Remembrance Day Bikers to the memorial for their service and wreath laying. The service was led by Reverend Helen Rose, the then serving Airport Chaplain. The wreath was laid by Nod Dedman (Corporal, RAF 1962-1972) and Suzanne Musgrove (WRAC Movements Clerk, 1977-1986). The event was organised by Lancing based motorcyclists Bob and Eve Pullen.

The Remembrance Day Bikers have returned each year for their service. We have also been proud to have the Royal Air Forces Association holding their services on 11th November and Battle of Britain day every 15th September every year.
